FYI, I believe this is just the second year for this run (we did it last year and had a great time). Nice to finally have a "LOCAL" poker run here! Started last year down towards the Ocean Springs bridge area and we went from there to abut six stops all local and in calm bay and rivers. I went to the first meeting and proposed a run out to Horn Island for a 2 card stop and I believe that is a go for this year! Many of us have boated out there and really nice waters and white sand! You need to follow someone if you go as the waters can get a little narrow and shallow in some areas in the bay and river. Party is at the Dock and last year the food was really good and free draft beer! The most important part is that it is for a great cause "The local Humane Society". Cost I think is still 100.00 for a boat of three and only 10.00 for an extra person (check out the website at www.riverbaypokerrun.com). Well, we pulled off another great boating event!! Craig, it was a blast!!! Looks like a few got pretty polluted around the pool....even heard one crazy girl may have broken a toe or something! HA!! Weather was great, food was delicious, and water was clear!! Thanks again!
